The 1/4 pound baggies are replaced with 3" x 3" squares, individually wrapped and sold in 6 squares per box.
This change is in response to many of our Internet clients expressing they had a hard time understanding just how much shortbread they would receive. "How much shortbread is actually in a pound?" was a very common question.
Six pieces are a bit more than a pound. The box and ribbon packaging did not change. An added bonus is that the shortbread stays whole and does not create as many crumbs. It also will stay very fresh. The individual sleeves that encase each square are resealable. The new look has been previewed at festivals and in stores with rave reviews.
